Community Guidelines

Effective Date: June 11, 2025 | Last Updated: June 11, 2025

Welcome to the AxelleMD Community.

Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and respectful space where everyone can explore health topics, ask questions, share insights, and learn together. These Community Guidelines apply to all user-generated content, including comments, forum posts, reactions, and interactions across the platform. These Guidelines are part of our legally binding Terms of Service. By participating in the community, you agree to abide by these guidelines and our Terms.

Because AxelleMD supports anonymous participation, we place extra importance on respectful, responsible behavior.

What We Expect from You

  • Treat everyone with kindness and empathy.
  • Respect different opinions, cultures, and life experiences.
  • Avoid judgmental or dismissive remarks, especially on sensitive health topics.

Stay on Topic

  • Focus your contributions on health education, wellness, and community support.
  • Share personal experiences only when relevant and helpful to others.

Protect Privacy

  • Do not share personal information (yours or anyone else’s), including names, emails, phone numbers, or identifying details.
  • Respect the anonymous design of the platform. Never try to identify or “out” another user. To be clear, while your identity is anonymous to other users, our moderation team has the necessary tools to associate your activity with your account to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Contribute Constructively

  • Ask honest questions.
  • Share knowledge or insights in good faith.
  • Use the reaction tools responsibly to support healthy conversation.

What’s Not Allowed

No Medical Misinformation or Advice

  • Do not give medical advice. This includes telling others how to treat a condition, suggesting specific dosages of medication or supplements, interpreting lab results, or presenting your personal experience as a guaranteed outcome for others. Sharing your journey is welcome; prescribing a course of action for someone else is strictly forbidden.

  • Do not share health claims that are not backed by credible evidence or clinical sources.
  • Do not discourage others from seeking proper medical attention from qualified healthcare professionals.

No Harassment or Hate

  • No bullying, insults, threats, or targeted attacks on other users.
  • No content that is sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory or hateful.

No Harmful Content

  • No content that encourages or provides instructions for self-harm or substance abuse.
  • No content that graphically depicts or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating.

No Spam and Promotions

  • No advertising, fundraising, selling products, or irrelevant self-promotion.
  • No repeated posting of the same content across multiple threads or discussions.

No Illegal Activities

  • Do not use the AxelleMD community to organize, promote, or engage in any fraudulent or illegal activity.

No Intellectual Property Infringement

  • Do not post text, images, or other content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any other person or entity. Only share content that you have created yourself or have permission to use.

Enforcement

Our moderators and automated systems review activity to keep the community safe. Violations of these guidelines may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  1. Issuing a formal warning.
  2. Removing the offending content.
